Balinese silver craftsmanship is world renowned for its intricate designs, attention to detail and exquisite artistry. The art of silversmithing has been practiced in Bali for centuries with techniques passed down through generations.
We chose to work exclusively with the best artists on the island, helping to play a role in Bali's economy by providing employment to local artisans.
Khodam
In Indonesia there is a belief in mystical powers associated with jewelry. The belief that jewelry can posess magical or spiritual energy is deeply rooted in Indonesian folklore and traditional practices. According to local beliefs jewelry can attract or house a “Khodam” which is a supernatural being or spirit. It is believed that this spirit can provide various forms of assistance, protection and good fortune to the owner of the jewelry.

Aksara Bali
also known as Balinese script, is the traditional system used to write the Balinese language. While Aksara Bali has a long history and cultural significance, its usage has declined in recent years due to the adoption of the Latin alphabet. Today, the script is primariiy used in religious and ceremonial contexts, inscribed on temples and preserved by the spiritual and intellectual elite.
In attempt to both share and help preserve this beautiful written form, each piece of our jewerly is inscribed with a word or two of it.
